  Larry Sanger is one of the true pioneers of the internet - he was there for the big bang of wikipedia and is now involved in the creation of a whole new universe, digitaluniverse.net. In part one of our discussion with Larry, he describes how he came to be involved with Wikipedia and more recently The Digital Universe. He then provides an overview of how Digital Universe will be structured and what business model it will use. Part 2, during which Larry shares his thoughts on the wiki textbook project, will be uploading soon.
