1 a. We are interested in being able to underwrite work that is currently being done by the educationbridges team on sites like edtechtalk. That project is currently unsupported, and, while it works now, it's hopes for the future lie in finding a more secure financial underpinning.

b. The second part of the project funding would be for educational projects like personallearningspace and youth voices. These are community projects currently supported by educationbridges by volunteers. In order to keep those people working on these projects and in the interests of supporting further grass roots work, we would like to approach foundations interested in the help of educationbridges as the facilitators for educational projects.

Educationbridges has a large contributor community and non-profit status would allow us to have users contribute to the projects that are currently serving as professional development
